Who is a good fit for Nilux Clinic?

Who will I be working with?

What kinds of concerns or goals do you help with?

We work with high-functioning adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, mood shifts, attention challenges, life transitions, relationship growth, and executive function issues. Many clients also explore legacy, meaning, and personal growth.

What services are offered?

Each treatment plan is personalized. Services may include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy, trauma-informed coaching, and performance or recovery intensives. A fuller list of offerings is available here for individuals and here for corporations.

What services do you offer beyond medication or therapy?

We offer legacy consultations (SAGE), burnout recovery intensives (RECALIBRATE), strategic second opinions (VANTAGE), immersive retreats (REFLECT), home visits, Central Park sessions, and more. Everything is tailored to your needs.

Where do you see clients?

We offer secure telepsychiatry to clients in New York and California. In-person sessions are also available by request and may occur in Warwick, Manhattan, Hollywood, or other private locations.

Can I work with Nilux if I live outside New York or California?

If you are seeking psychiatric or therapy services, you must be physically located in either New York or California at the time of each session, as we are only licensed in those states. However, if you are interested in non-clinical services — such as coaching, retreats, or performance consultations — we may be able to work with you regardless of your location. Do you work with companies or organizations?

Yes. Nilux Clinic offers corporate partnerships including wellness workshops, confidential mental health services for executives or employees, strategic consultation, and founder-focused coaching.

What types of corporate services are available?

We offer on-site or virtual group sessions, psychological safety consulting, burnout prevention programs, and teaching engagements. Each engagement is customized for the company’s goals.

💳 Fees, Insurance & Payment

Why aren’t your fees listed on the website?

We intentionally keep our pricing private to honor the discretion and individuality of our care. Many of our services are tailored and may vary depending on the intensity, settings, and level of access involved. During our initial consultation, we will walk you through all options, pricing structures, and what’s best aligned with your needs — with complete transparency and no pressure.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Nilux Clinic is a fully private-pay psychiatric practice. We are not in-network with any insurance plans and do not submit claims on your behalf.

Can I use my insurance for reimbursement?

Possibly. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill upon request for possible partial reimbursement.

Is Nilux Clinic in-network with Medicare or Medicaid?

No. We do not bill Medicare or Medicaid, as we do not offer services covered by them. If you are enrolled in either, contact us before booking to see whether any service may be offered legally.

Do you offer sliding scale or financial assistance?

Not at this time. However, we’re happy to refer you to lower-cost providers when appropriate.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. Most HSA/FSA cards are accepted through our secure Stripe system.

How do I get started?

Book a free 15–30 minute Zoom intro call via our homepage. You’ll receive a secure Zoom link and calendar invite.

What happens during the intro call?

We’ll explore your goals, answer your questions, and see whether our approach is the right fit. No pressure—just clarity.

🚨 Safety & Emergencies

What should I do if I’m in crisis or need immediate help?

Nilux Clinic is not a crisis provider. If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, dial 988, or go to the nearest ER. For non-urgent needs, clients may message us securely between sessions.

How do you protect my health information?

All care is provided through HIPAA-compliant tools: Osmind (EHR), Google Workspace (with BAA), and Zoom for Healthcare (via Osmind). Your information is encrypted and never shared without your consent.
